After finishing his Bachelor of Science from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, Dr. Hatchett was accepted into medical school. Dr. Hatchett earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He then completed a competitive residency program at Bayfront Medical Center through the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg.
Dr. Hatchett is now board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also maintains professional affiliations with the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society.
Currently, Dr. Hatchett is the chief of the medical staff at Habersham Medical Center in Demorest. He’s the former president of the Advisory Board of Georgia, as well as a former board member of the Hospital Authority of Habersham County.
